Next CCP Primer Class and Exam                                                                                        March, 2021 Virtual Instructor-LED CCP Primer Classes and Virtual Proctor-LED for the CCP Exam.  Note:  Applicants are not required to take the CCP Primer Class in order to take the CCP Exam, however, taking the CCP Primer Class has been highly recommended by previous applicants who have taken and passed the exam successfully.

CCP PRIMER CLASSES (4)    4 Classes, 1 1/2 hour each during Wednesdays in March, 2021. Each class consists of separate content and taking all 4 classes is required to complete the exercise and to receive a certificate of completion. Virtual Instructor-LED Classes March 3, 2021, March 10, March17, and March 24, 2021.  Each Class begins at 12:30 PM and concludes at 2:00 PM EST. Primer Class Fee is $725.00 for non members and $575.00 for CCPAC members (includes all 4 classes).

CCP  EXAM                                                                                                                                    The exam is based on the content of the publication, Freight Claims in Plain English, 4th Edition.  The CCP Exam will be a Virtual Proctor-LED Exam on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.  The written exam will be sent to each registered candidate and taken at each candidates location and Proctored virtually. This is a timed exam (3 Hours) and will begin at 12:30 PM and conclude at 3:30 PM.  Candidates will need to have access to a printer to download the exam and print out to take the exam. Upon completion of the exam or the call-time the candidate will need to scan the exam and email to CCPAC or mail the exam via UPS or US Mail with tracking.  If the candidate can not email the completed exam back to CCPAC, postage/shipping fees by UPS or the Post Office for sending the completed exam back to CCPAC is the responsibility of the applicant.  Exam Fee is $725.00 for non members and $575.00 for CCPAC members.

The Fee to take both the CCP Primer Classes and the CCP Exam is $1,450 for non members and $1,050 for CCPAC members

CCP Primer Class & CCP Exam ON-LINE REGISTRATION Form

NOTE:  You must complete and submit the CCP Exam Application and Calculation of Points Form along with any supporting documentation, i.e. work history resume, copies of Certificates or Diplomas for attending Classes, Seminars, Conferences and/or degrees from high learning institutions, to CCPAC and be preapproved by CCPAC before completing this Registration Form below and paying the fee(s).  You can click on this link to download the CCP Exam Application and Calculation of Points Form

The CCP Primer Class consists of 4 Classes, 1 1/2 hour duration each during Wednesdays in March, 2021. Each class consists of separate content and taking all 4 classes is required to complete the exercise. Candidates completing all 4 classes will earn 6 hours CCPAC continuing education credits (CE) and receive a certificate of completion. Virtual Instructor-LED Classes are March 3, 2021, March 10, March 17, and March 24, 2021.  Each Class begins at 12:30 PM and concludes at 2:00 PM EST. Primer Class Fee is $725.00 for non members and $575.00 for CCPAC Members (includes all 4 classes).

CCP EXAM will be a written and timed exam consisting of 150 questions where answers are either true or false or multiple choice. There are no essay type answers on the exam. The exam will be a Virtual Proctor-LED Exam on Wednesday, March 31, 2021.  The written exam will be sent to each registered candidate and taken at each candidates individual location and Proctored virtually. This is a timed exam (3 Hours) and will begin at 12:30 PM and conclude (call-time) at 3:30 PM.  Candidates will need to have access to a printer to download the exam and print-out to take the exam. Upon completion of the exam or the call-time, which ever occurs first,  the candidate will need to scan the completed exam and email to CCPAC or mail the exam via UPS or US Mail with tracking.  If the candidate can not scan and email the completed exam back to CCPAC, postage/shipping fees charged by UPS or the Post Office for sending the completed exam back to CCPAC is the responsibility of the applicant.  The exams will be graded and each candidate will be advised whether they passed or failed.  A score of 70 or higher is required to pass the exam. Those that fail to pass the exam will be able to re-take the exam in November of the same year without having to re-apply and paying a fee of $365.00 non-member, $287.50 CCPAC member to re-take the exam.   Exam Fee is $725.00 for non-members and $575.00 for CCPAC members.

NOTE: Your Registration will not be accepted by CCPAC until the Application to take the CCP Exam and the Calculation of Points Forms accompanied with your work experience, educational history and payment are received by CCPAC at its Jacksonville, FL headquarters. You can download the CCP Exam Application and Calculation of Points Form from the website or click on the link above. By completing the on-line form below registers you for the CCP Primer Classes and/or the CCP Exam or both but the CCP Exam application and supporting documents must be submitted beforehand either by mail or scanned and emailed to CCPAC Headquarters [email protected] to attend.

The CCP Primer Class is a fast moving intense four 1 1/2 hour class review for individuals preparing to take the CCP Exam. The Classes are not intended to be a replacement for reading and studying the content of the publication of Freight Claims in Plain English, 4th Edition. Applicants for the classes must have met the minimum qualifications as outlined on the CCP Calculation of Points Form (part of the CCP Exam Application) found on the CCPAC website www.ccpac.com under the “Become Certified Now” tab.  

You can register for the CCP Exam only and not take the CCP Primer Class offered on the preceding 4 Wednesdays in March. However, history has shown that those who take the CCP Primer Classes and then take the CCP Exam on last Wednesday of the month have a higher pass rate on the exam than those who do not attend the Class.

The reference text for the exam is Freight Claims in Plain English, 4th Edition. If you do not own a copy of book, you can purchase it at the CCPAC website on-line Book Store or when you register.  The book is available in a softcover print edition as well as a flash drive or downloadable version.   The cost of the book is not included in the CCP Primer Classes fee or the CCP Exam fee.

Notice:  Certified Claims Professional Accreditation Council, Inc. (CCPAC), nor any of its representatives, officers, directors, agents are not responsible for any exam application, supporting documents and/or fees received late by CCPAC as a result of late mail deliveries or undelivered email submissions or such addressed incorrectly by the sender.  Applying and taking the CCP Primer Classes and/or the CCP Exam does not automatically provide the applicant a Certified Claim Professional (CCP) designation.  Applicants must provide evidence they are qualified to attend the classes and/or sit for the exam, pay the applicable fee for each or any one; CCP Primer Class fee of $725.00 non-member, $575.00 CCPAC member and/or CCP Exam Fee of  $725.00 non-member,  $575.00 CCPAC member fee, USD, be approved by the CCPAC Exam Committee and obtain a passing score of 70 or greater on the exam.  In the event an applicant does not obtain a passing score on the exam, they can retake the exam within one year.  The fee to re-take the exam within one year of the initial exam date is $365.00 non-member, $287.50 CCPAC member, USD..  Applicants who do not obtain a passing score and who do not retake the exam within one year period must re-apply and pay the full exam fee of $725.00 non-members, $575.00 CCPAC members, USD.

(CCPAC), and their representatives, officers, directors, agents (herein called “Released Parties”) RELEASE same from any and all claims and demands, rights and causes of action of any kind Whatsoever which I now have or later might have, if any, resulting from, or arising out of, or in any connection with my participation in the Event and/or while attending and/or  participating in the Event. This RELEASE extends to any and all claims I may have against Released Parties whether such claims result From negligence on the part of any participant and all Released Parties for any injuries Resulting to my property or myself during or in connection with the Event. ASSUMPTION OF RISK. I fully understand the risks and dangers inherent in participating in this type of Event and I expressly AGREE TO ASSUME THE ENTIRE RISK of any accidents or personal injury, including possible death, which I may suffer as a result of attending the Event, participating in the Event, or observing others at the Event whether such risk results from negligence on the part of the a participant or any of the Released Parties.
