The Transportation & Logistics Council will hold its 42nd Annual Cargo Claim National Conference at the Crowne Plaza, Albuquerque, NM May 2-4, 2016. If you are currently a member of the Certified Claims Professional Council (CCPAC) or if you register on-line now for the CCP Primer Class and Exam that will be held in conjunction with this conference, you will automatically become an Associate Member of CCPAC and thereby entitling you to register for the T&LC Cargo Claim Annual Conference at the discounted T&LC Member Rate. T&LC is a founding co-sponsor of CCPAC, Attending this conference is highly recommended as the educational and networking opportunities are well worth the value. The CCP Primer and CCP Exam as well as the T&LC 42nd Annual Claim Conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza, Albuquerque, NM. Hotel reservations cannot be made through this website. Reservations can be made at the Crowne Plaza Albuquerque located at 1901 University Blvd Albuquerque, NM by clicking here or by calling 505-887-2500 make sure you mention Transportation & Logistics Council (TLC) group to get the $109 room rate. This rate is guaranteed until April 9, 2016 or until the group block is sold out, whichever comes first.

CCP Primer & CCP Exam

The CCP Primer Class will be Sunday, May 1, 2016, and the CCP Exam will be Wednesday, May 4, 2016, both at the Crowne Plaza – Albuquerque, NM Conference Room Locations will be announced after registration closes April 10, 2016.
The fee for the CCP Primer class includes the CCP Exam Fee unless you opt for the CCP Exam Only. It is highly recommended that you register and attend both the CCP Primer Class & Exam.
Both the CCP Primer Class and the CCP Exam will be held in conjunction with the Transportation & Logistic Council’s (T&LC) 42nd Annual Cargo Claim Conference at the Crowne Plaza – Albuquerque, NM However, registering and attending the conference is separate and is in addition to the CCP Primer Class and CCP Exam fee.
If you opt to register on-line but pay later by check and mail be sure to so indicate on the registration form below by clicking on pay later. NOTE: Your Registration will not be accepted by CCPAC until the CCP Exam 3-page Application and Calculation of Points Forms are accompanied with your work experience, educational history and payment are received by CCPAC at its Jacksonville, FL world headquarters. You can download the CCP Exam Application and Calculation of Points Form from the website. By completing the on-line form below registers you for the CCP Primer Class and the CCP Exam but the CCP Exam application and supporting documents must be submitted either by mail or scanned and emailed to CCPAC Headquarters [email protected] to attend.
The CCP Primer Class is a fast moving intense one day review for individuals preparing to take the CCP Exam and who have met the minimum qualifications as outlined on the CCPAC CCP Calculation of Points Form (part of the CCP Exam Application) found on the CCPAC website www.ccpac.com under the “Become Certified Now” tab.
You can register for the CCP Exam only and not take the CCP Primer Class offered on Sunday. However, history has shown that those who take the CCP Primer Class on Sunday and then take the CCP Exam on Wednesday have a higher pass rate on the exam than those who do not attend the Class.
The reference text for the exam is Freight Claims in Plain English, 4th Edition. If you do not own a copy of this two-volume text, you can purchase it at the CCPAC website on-line Book Store. You will receive a User ID and PW to purchase this at Member Pricing once you register and pay the CCP Primer Class and CCP Exam registration fee. The cost of the text is not included in the CCP Primer or the CCP Exam fee. Participants in the class are encouraged to bring Volume 1 of their text books with them as Class attendees generally form study groups afterward to further help prepare for the exam on Wednesday.
The fee includes continental breakfast, breaks and lunch for the Sunday CCP Primer Class only. Information about the class room location will be distributed to registered attendees prior to the Class. Attendees not living in the greater Albuquerque area and are not planning on commuting to the class and exam location are encouraged to make Saturday night room reservations with the conference hotel, Crowne Plaza Hotel because the CCP Primer Class begins promptly at 9 AM Sunday morning. Be sure to mention the T&LC conference to get the conference room rate pricing. Punctuality Sunday morning is very important as there are no hand-out materials and topics discussed will not be repeated for late comers.
