With over 25 years in transportation management and most recently served as Director of Risk Management for Landstar.  John has specialized in domestic and international cargo liability claims, loss prevention,  insurance and security for all modes of transportation. He is a Founding Member of the Certified Claims Professional Accreditation  Council.  John serves on the Board of Directors of the Jacksonville Claims Association and serves as Deputy of the Chapter of Risk & Insurance Management Society.  He currently serves as a Carrier Arbitrator for the Transportation Arbitration Board (TAB) and is an active member of the Transportation Industry Defense Association and the Law Enforcement & Private Security Council of Northeast Florida.

Claims Administrator, FedEx Custom Critical

Roy has ten years of experience in cargo claims and three years in PLPD claims with a combined twenty-five years in various management positions, loss prevention and collections. He is the Cargo Claims Administrator at FedEx  Custom Critical. Roy became a CCP in 2006 and is also earned his ARM designation. Roy is a graduate of graduate of Youngstown State University and the Insurance Institute of America.

Dave has over 30 years of experience in transportation management. He is currently the Director overseeing cargo claims, OS&D, loss prevention, quality control, security and operations. Dave is a member of New Jersey Motor Trucking Association & Eastern Regional Transportation Security Council, He also is a member of the Transportation Loss Prevention & Security Association and the American Society of Industrial Security. He served as President of the Northeastern Motor Carrier Claims & Security Conference during 2000-2004. Dave is a proud Army Veteran.

Senior Claims Analyst, Landstar Systems, Inc.

Brenda Baker began her career in the transportation industry in August 1989 at Ranger Transportation in the Risk Management Department, now part of Landstar. She has been involved in all aspects of cargo claim handling and negotiations since that time and became a CCP in 2004. Brenda is a Florida native and is a Sr. Cargo Claims Analyst at Landstar. She is a member of the Jacksonville Claims Association and the Property and Casualty Claims Professionals Association. Brenda is also licensed by the State of Florida as an All Lines Claim Adjuster (ACA).

Senior Claims Analyst, Risk Managment Claim Services, Inc.

Jean Zimmerman’s has over 25 years in the transportation industry. She began her career with the Ranger Division of Ryder Truck Lines in Jacksonville, Florida in the Revenue Processing Department. Jean was then promoted to head up the Fuel and Miles Tax Department before she began focusing her efforts of specializing in cargo legal liability claims. In her current position she is the Senior Claims Analyst at Risk Management Claim Services, Inc., a Landstar company. Jean is licensed by the State of Florida as an All Lines Claims Adjuster (ACA) and earned her CCP designation from CCPAC in 2007. She is an active member of the Property and Casualty Claims Professionals Association, CCPAC and the Jacksonville Claims Association.

Assistant National Recovery Manager, MSI Claims (USA) Inc.

Wally has been involved as a carrier or shipper cargo claims since 1986, having served both carrier and shippers. From 1986 through 1999, Wally was the Director of Cargo Claims at Rutgers Express and Streichler Trucking. From 1999 through 2005, he served as the Cargo Claims Manager for Panasonic Electronics. Prior to his career in cargo claims, Wally worked for Zim Container Service and Maher Terminals as a Terminal Superintendent in Elizabeth, NJ. In 2003, Wally retired from the US Army reserves, after 23 years of service, with his last position being Marine Cargo Operations NCO. He received a Bachelor of Science in Transportation and Logistics from St. John's University in 1994 and is presently seeking his master’s degree from St. John's College of Insurance.

Senior Manager of Cargo Claims, FedEx Freight

Teresa Jones is a past president of CCPAC and an active member of the council for many years.  She began her career in the transportation industry in 1989 when she joined FedEx Freight; formerly known as Arkansas Freightways and then American Freightways.  Since that time, she has been involved in all  aspects of freight claims handling and management.  She has been the driving force in coaching and helping her entire staff in the Claims Department to all earn their CCP certification.  Teresa resides in Harrison, Arkansas, with her husband and two sons.

Director of Claims, nVision Global

Cindy is a past president of the Council and has served on various committees and on the board for many years. She has 20 years of transportation experience.  Cindy has spent the majority of her time in the motor carrier and freight-forwarder segments of the business working primarily in claims or claims-related positions.  The last ten years have been spent managing the Loss and Damage Claims departments for a couple of different companies.  In 1999, Cindy joined the management staff of TSi Logistics as the Loss and Damage Claims Manager.  In that same year, she successfully completed the CCPAC course and became the third member of the TSi staff to hold this distinction. TSI is not part of nVision Global where Cindy is one of those people who truly enjoys handling claims and working with carriers to reach and equitable settlement for all parties.

 Plain English among others.  George also has the distinction of serving as the Executive Director of the
 Transportation & Logistics Council, a founding sponsor of CCPAC when it was initially formulated in 1980.

James Cook, CCP

Jim has six years of experience in supply chain logistics, working with Freight Audit and Pay, Overcharge Claims, and Cargo Claims. Jim currently serves as a Cargo Claims Analyst for MIQ Logistics, LLC, a provider of global transportation and distribution services in North America, Latin America, Europe, and Asia. Jim became a CCP in 2010, and has also earned a Certificate of Professional Recognition from the Institute of Logistical Management for the successful completion of the Freight Claims Management course.
